On Saturday, November 25, 2023, the Kyoto Model Forest Association held the “Let’s Play in the Autumn Forest” Children’s Forest Growing and Hands-on Learning Session at Narabigaoka of Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City! Narabigaoka Forest Explorers 2023″ at Narabigaoka, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto.
30 people, including 15 children from elementary school and their parents, participated in this event.
Thanks to the guidance of the instructors, they discovered findings that might otherwise be overlooked.
The children observed leaves of various shapes and played rock-paper-scissors with leaves of Kakuremino/Dendropanax trifidus.

At the end of the tour, the children received certificates of participation from the instructors in the open space, where the autumn leaves were beautiful.
