Kyoto Model Forest Introduced In the Newsletter Issued by the International Model Forest Network


The Kyoto Model Forest Association is affiliated with the International Model Forest Network (IMFN) which is headquartered in Canada. Currently, members over 30 countries and 60 regions worldwide are enrolled in the IMFN. The update on the Kyoto Model Forest’s activities was introduced in the newsletter issued by the IMFN secretariat. The article reported on the summary overview of the Kyoto Model Forest which is a network of small-scale forests because of the characteristic of the forest ownership in Japan, the commitments by the private sector companies as part of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) , and the collaboration with local residents.
