Supported by National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization
Model Forests are collaborative initiatives where diverse local stakeholders engage in dialogue and work together to achieve sustainable forest management. First proposed by the Canadian government at the 1992 Earth Summit, this framework has since expanded to over 60 regions worldwide. This seminar will explore the Model Forest initiatives in Asia, highlighting key lessons learned through interregional collaboration.
