On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Gunze held the 47th Gunze Kyoto Model Forest Movement was held in Ayabe at Obata-cho (the ruins of Obata Castle). This time, the participants mainly cleared the bushes and trees. Under the clear sky, they transported the felled trees in a relay and turned them into chips with a crusher. They also added a new place for growing beetle larvae. This year they can see the beautiful flowering of the Mitsuba azalea as a result of the previous efforts to clear the brush.
