Seminar on Forests and Sustainability: Advancing OECM Registration, J-Credits, and Timber Utilization

Toward the 20th Anniversary of the Kyoto Model Forest Movement

In recent years, corporate environmental initiatives have come to significantly impact social reputation and corporate value. Among these, efforts focused on biodiversity and decarbonization through forest resources are gaining attention as concrete actions. As the “Kyoto Model Forest Movement” prepares for its 20th anniversary next year, participating companies are showing increased interest in environmental conservation through forests, including registration for “OECM” (Other Effective area-based Conservation Measures) / “Other Effective area-based Conservation Measures” sites.

This seminar provides easy-to-understand information to help corporate representatives navigate practical themes such as OECM registration, utilizing the J-Credit scheme, and promoting timber utilization.
