KMFA Held Training Sessions for Voluntary Groups Maintaining Local Forests

On the July 14 and 15, 2017, KMFA held a training session for voluntary groups that undertook forest management activities that are subsidized by the National Forestry Agency. At the event, the attendees learned new approaches to monitor the effectiveness of forest management programs. Lectures were delivered by forestry experts from the local government, and forest instructors association.
Approximately 20 attendees participated in the sessions daily, and gained experience in measuring the height and calculating the density of the forest. They also attended a lecture on constructing a logging road, which is critical to ensure continuous forest management.
